Slackware 14.1 and EFI stub

Will the efi stub be set in the generic kernel for the forthcoming release? It would make my new installation very easy.

I know the answer to this is in the config of the release candidate but I am having some trouble tracing this file.

Distribution: Android Replicant now because I lack a computer to put Slackware on. Maybe Gentoo too.

Is this what you're looking for? Took me an age to find because I was looking in just slackware, not slackware64. Can't say too much because I haven't installed it yet but hopefully today.

No. That's not what I am looking for. If the stub is set in the generic kernel all I have to do is copy it to the EFI partition and edit rEFInd.cfg

I also use rEFInd
I think it automatically detects the .EFI files (are they called EFI Stubs?)
(cant say what does it require in the kernel), but without rEFInd I dont think I will be able to install Slackware because my laptop (HP) doesnt seem to add efibootmgr entries.

Yes, CONFIG_EFI_STUB=y in all the x86_64 kernels.
