Hi: in the Adobe site it is said the following. "11.2 will be the last version to target Linux as a supported platform". How do I know which is the version in my system (Slackware 14.1-32)?
Pretty much any Flash you would've installed in the last few years is likely 11.2. But they keep releasing security updates. Depending on where you got your initial program and whether you kept it up-to-date through that method could help determine whether you're running the latest update.
Currently, the latest 11.2 version is 11.2.202.468. You should be able to see your version in about:plugins in various browsers as John said, or use pkgtool, if it was installed using a Slackware package (I've been keeping mine up-to-date using sbopkg, which uses slackbuilds.org -- using SBo, it's listed as flashplayer-plugin).
The only plugins I see by your method is skypesomething.so. However I remember the last time I installed 14.4 I had no trouble with youtube, whereas now the "Full Screen" button is missing.
Youtube can work without flashplayer now (it uses HTML5). It isn't installed by default, so if you didn't install it, then it isn't there. Another alternative is using Chrome, since that has flash included with it.
