Slackware 14.1 64 bit can't boot after install

I installed Slackware 14.1 without any problems. But I cannot boot into the system because of the error

Code:
37.214042] mei_me 0000:00:03:0: unexpected reset: dev_state = RESETTING
37.214042] mei_me 0000:00:03:0: version message writet failed
As I cannot boot into the system, I could not also blacklist mei module, how do I blacklist the module while booting.

Any suggestions on booting into Slackware smoothly?

if you have slackware cd/dvd, boot with it then,
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt (assuming your /dev/sda1 is point to / in your fstab)
cd /mnt/etc/modprobe.d
vi blacklist.conf
input this following line
blacklist mei_me

number22, thanks it worked and now I am booted into slackware.

I logged into single user mode, remounted the drive in rw mode, used /usr/bin/elvis to edit the blacklist.conf file.

Thanks a lot. Wow. I am excited.
