Slackware 13

Hi all, I installed slackware 13 in virtualbox (full installation), but I have not internet (ADSL). I tryed adsl-setup, but there aren't that commant. Tryed pppoe-setup, netconfig, but again I have not connection. Where is the problem? And I have one more question about Fluxbox. I have not display, wallpaper, icons...only menus. Can I resolve this?

The default network setting for VirtualBox is NAT mode. That mode essentially looks for the host system to provide gateway services to the guest system. If your host system is connected to the net, then be sure to enable ip forwarding on the host system too. If your host system is not connected to the web, then start troubleshooting there.

How exactly is your machine connected to the Internet? Is it connected directly to a modem, or is it connected to a modem/router, or what?

In future, please post separate issues in separate threads. Fluxbox is meant to be lightweight, so it won't have all the features of a desktop environment like KDE or Xfce. Perhaps read about the differences between desktop environments and window managers.
