Okay now, where can one obtain habafropzipulops? They say, tat when Bob's pipe is filled with it, we can expect something either mystical, hallucinogenic, or Divine to happen, like Slackware 13.37 release

dunno, but I would try attending to devivals: listening to some good sermons (I attended a very good Pope Black's one) has the same mind-blowing effect.

powertop

hi guys

just upgraded to -current, a.k.a. 13.37 -- things went flawlessly

relevant to a previous post of mine (http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-timer-868255/), when running

powertop

on -current, the output is:

Top causes for wakeups:
41.8% ( 27.6) [kernel scheduler] Load balancing tick
29.4% ( 19.4) [pata_ali] <interrupt>
5.8% ( 3.8) [kernel core] hrtimer_start (tick_sched_timer)
5.2% ( 3.4) firefox-bin
3.9% ( 2.6) [ohci_hcd:usb2, mmc0, mmc1, mmc2, tifm_7xx1, yenta, radeon] <i
2.4% ( 1.6) [eth0] <interrupt>

The computer is the one mentioned in my previous post and the kernel is hugesmp. So far it is quiet
GREAT!

either Mr. Volkerding really considered my post, or something in the kernel got fixed or it is just a coincidence. In any case -- big thanks!

Sometimes I wonder, what will be released first Slackware 13.37 or OpenTTD 1.1.0 (both on RC3 stage now), i.e. what will I play first?

What is with the odd name anyway? I mean, 13.37? Just sound odd and I doubt Patrick is referencing 1337 speak.

Why would you doubt that, the reference is quite obvious.

I just never imagined he'd make a reference to it through Slackware's name. Amusing though, I'd forgotten of 1337 5p34k.
