Slackware 13.37 32-bit VLC media player no sound with video
 
My VLC media player can play audio .wav files and audio CDs,
but when it plays a video DVD I get the video but no sound.
How do I get VLC to play sound along with video ?

Have you tried with a different player with the same media or different media with the same player?
