Slackware 13.1 Kernel option which breaks ISCSI
Eric, or anyone else that reads this that has any sway with the slackware packages:

For some reason the new slackware kernel has CONFIG_SCSI_ISCSI_ATTRS=y which breaks ISCSI. The reason is because the open-iscsi user space expects this to be a module. Because of this you can't bring up ISCSI on slackware 13.1 unless you build the kernel over again and compile this as a module. The last slackware I used was 12.2 and it had this as a module so iscsi worked fine.

Is there any reason why this changed and can it get changed back? There really isn't any reason why we would want this compiled into the kernel especially when the other iscsi modules are compiled as modules and this prevents iscsi from working altogether.
