Slackware 12 + OpenSwan 2.4.9

Hi all;
I'm trying to configure a slack 12 box to use on our network as a server-server VPN gateway. I use OpenSwan for all of our connections. I can't seem to get kernel 2.6.21.5 to cooperate, though. The 2.6 patches for OpenSwan (klips, natt)bomb. I've looked all over the net and can't seem to find anyone else having this problem - surely someone has. Am I going to have to downgrade to an older kernel version to get this to work??

Most likely your kernel lacks support for the various modules needed in order to build ipsec. If you compile it yourself you need at least the following:

(M) PF_KEY sockets
(M) IP: AH transformations
(M) IP: ESP transformations
(M) IP: IPComp transformations
(M) IP: IPsec tunnel mode
