Slackware 12.2 and ext/4,Kde 4.2

I'm running Slackware 12.2 and I'm interested in using ext/4 and KDE 4.2 (Or 4.1, which the Slackware website says in in -current /testing, however I could not find it there).
I'd just mainly like to know if using them is possible with 12.2 and what I'd have to do-like compile from source, or if there are available KDE 4.1/4.2 or ext/4 Slackware or Slackbuilds packages anywhere plus what hoops I'd have to jump though to get them installed and working outside of just compiling and installing or running pkgtool or sbopkg.
I'm still relatively new to Slackware, I've only been aboard for about a month and a half, but I've been using Linux for sixteen months so I know some of the basics. Though really, I'm still very much a subadvanced user.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

you can download a current-iso which has ext4 built into the installer or if you want to use ext4 on 12.2 then follow the steps in the second post of this thread. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...urrent-710620/

Thanks,Daedra but given the options between reinstalling and messing with gparted I think I'll just wait a bit on the ext/4 thing. Sheer laziness won out on this one tonight.
I'm still interested in KDE 4.1-2 though, if anybody has any information.

I went and rooted around at Slackware -current and could not find anything like iso's with updated ext 4 support. I don't think I was just sent on a dummy mission, but really I can't find the .iso.

There are **NO** official iso's of -current. You have to find an unofficial one
or roll your own.

Ok, thanks.

Alien Bob has a script to mirror the Slackware -current version locally and create ISOs.

The script can be found here.

Here is a good mirror that has current ISO's ftp://ftp.slackware.no/pub/linux/ISO...ent-ISO-build/
