(I'm a man of few words.) |
anyone know if its worth download this 'official' release if I just downloaded RC2 (26JUN07) .isos?
guess I can look in the changelogs but if anyone knows already this is the same it'll save me some time & CDs :D |
I figured it was coming today or tomorrow. I think this is a very cool Slackware release.
Thanks for the heads up, Eric. |
Sweet! Habemus gnu/Linux! :)
|
Hallelujah brother !!!
|
Good news! Thanks, Eric.
|
Excellent news indeed - now please don't forget to buy your personal copy of 12 to keep supporting Pat and his excellent work!
|
time for me to fire up aliens mirror script again and get the changed packages - saves me having to d/l the whole dvd again :) - just rsync the difference between rc2 and final :p
|
Wow, that was actually unexpected. Great news and big gongrats to Pat. Great timing, considering I'm going to have to install Slack on my computer in a couple of days and I would have not gone with release candidates.
|
Thanks, Eric:-) Bittorrent fired-up now, I'll leave it open as long as possible.
Very cool, man:-) |
Damn!
My DVD writer just broke down and I'm going on a holiday in a couple of days. Slackware 12 will have to wait for two weeks... |
Hi all,
I've been following the changelog for -current, and haven't seen the new Emacs 22.1 listed. Is it included in Slackware 12? I hope so! About how much space would a full install require? Thanks! -Drew |
