Good news! Thanks, Eric.

Yalla-One 07-02-2007 03:22 PM

Excellent news indeed - now please don't forget to buy your personal copy of 12 to keep supporting Pat and his excellent work!

Carpo 07-02-2007 03:27 PM

time for me to fire up aliens mirror script again and get the changed packages - saves me having to d/l the whole dvd again :) - just rsync the difference between rc2 and final :p

kummiliim 07-02-2007 03:45 PM

Wow, that was actually unexpected. Great news and big gongrats to Pat. Great timing, considering I'm going to have to install Slack on my computer in a couple of days and I would have not gone with release candidates.

hitest 07-02-2007 03:50 PM

Thanks, Eric:-) Bittorrent fired-up now, I'll leave it open as long as possible.
Very cool, man:-)

adriv 07-02-2007 03:50 PM

Damn!
My DVD writer just broke down and I'm going on a holiday in a couple of days.

Slackware 12 will have to wait for two weeks...

Lufbery 07-02-2007 03:51 PM

Hi all,

I've been following the changelog for -current, and haven't seen the new Emacs 22.1 listed. Is it included in Slackware 12? I hope so!

About how much space would a full install require?

Thanks!

-Drew
