Thumbs up Slackware 12.0 and Bluetooth

Hey guys, I discovered /etc/rc.d/rc.bluetooth and turned it on (chmod +x). Then did a little searching around lq.org and did the following:
Code:
root@slackware:/home/perry/Desktop# hciconfig -a

signal sender=org.freedesktop.DBus -> dest=:1.31 path=/org/freedesktop/DBus; interface=org.freedesktop.DBus; member=NameAcquired
   string ":1.31"
So like I got a connection, but the question is, what do I do now? Does anybody know what to do? As I do not want to install another bluetooth package when I might already have something with Slackware 12 that will already do it all for me. Anybody know what to do ? Thought maybe HAL might come to the rescue for me on this but nothing happened...

Got a little info here but it doesn't seem to be ready for use: BlueZ. And this info seems to be outdated! As I do not want to make any unnecessary changes to my newly installed system!

Thanks much,

- perry

kbluetooth is an option which is running without any problems here in a Slackware-12.0 environment.

Need a sticky on bluetooth for Slackware or Linux

I'm confused, I see support for bluetooth already on my Slackware 12 system but no info on how to use the thing...

Frustrating....

Oh well,

- perry
