Slackware 10: Would removing KDE 3.3 break something else?

Question:

In Slackware 10, would removing KDE break something else?

Summary:

The reason I ask is, I am not a KDE fan and I am assuming that since it is an optional package to install, that I could use 'pkgtool' to remove KDE.

Really the only benefit is to free up disk space. But, if it breaks something else, the extra disk space isn't worth it.

Depends if you use KDE tools under any other gui. But no, it shouldn't really damage anything.

Shouldn't cause any problems, unless you use any KDE applications in other WMs/DEs.

I wouldn't have bothered with KDE myself were it not for K3B and Konqueror (the latter of which I need only so that I have an alternative html engine available for when a website looks messed-up when Gecko tries to render it).
