slackware 10.. root user only gets read only access
 

just installed slackware 10. installed lilo onto mbr and booted into to slack
logged in as a root user, and can get only read only access. so cant access anything..
what am i doing wrong??

How do you know root has only read access ? what command did you type ?

i couldnt create any file.. even xorgconfig couldnt be saved..

anyway.. i reinstalled slack.. and formatted..so now its fine..
