I´ve ordered the boxed set too, about 1 week ago. So far I´ve heard nothing of it, other than the standard email that my order has been confirmed. Should I get an email when they ship it?

I´m not in any hurry though since a. I´ve downloaded it already (and using it, works great!) anyway and b. bought it just to support the slackware project. Of course I´d still want to have the official boxed CD:s someday :)

Well, I think they are shipping them by mule now-a-days so you'll get yours sometime next year by the looks of your location.... ;) Once the mule finally makes it to the east coast of the US, they put it in a plastic bag and strap it to the back of a Dolphin to get it over seas.....

I checked the mail yesterday, and there it was! It was sent Priority Mail, just like the last time (I'm a subscriber). And I'm from the East Coast. ;)

Well, thats even better news!! I'm a subscriber as well and I'm from the mid-west technically. I'm closer to California than you are and I haven't got mine yet... Sigh..... I'll hold on a little longer...

I've been a subscriber since 9.0...still haven't gotten 10 in the mail yet, and no shipping confirmation from the slack store. I emailed them three days ago, but haven't gotten a response. Anyone else having the same problem??

Yep.. Same exact problem. EVERY single thing you just said applies to me as well... Still haven't gotten billed for the release, no e-mail confirmation, no slackware. They charged me for my subscription fee tho. It was 29.95 instead of 24.95 like it says on the slack site as well... Sent an email as well and no response yet..

I think lately he might be gaining in popularity quite a bit and he probably doesn't have the personel to handle it. Just a guess I suppose. I'm going to have to send another email and photo copy my visa bill to them or something. Who knows what in the hell is going on... I don't even need it now... Oh well...

I still haven´t gotten a shipping notice or anything either. Although my credit card has been charged of course :) To be honest I´m not even expecting to receive it this month... If I get it this summer I´m happy. Pat needs to hire more people :)

I never got an e-mail confirmation either. I was looking at my CC account online and noticed that I got charged. Later, I found Slack 10 in my mailbox. And it's still $24.95. The extra $5.00 is for shipping.

Well, I've only been billed once this year for 29.95 and that was months ago. I assume it was my subscription fee. How can they charge you an extra 5 bucks on a subscription fee when they don't send you anything? :confused: I don't care. He can have the 5 bones as long as he DOES hire more people... ;)

Just got a reply from the slackware store. They have shipped slackware 10 last week so it should arrive any day now :)

Nice. It'll take a while for the mule to reach Finland, I think it should arrive early next week though :D
