Slackware 10 partitioning


i have a question about partitioning my 80GB hard drive.But i dont know how to set it up in fdisk.I look at this site http://www.bitbenderforums.com/vb22...p?postid=311808
but i got all mixed up on his partitioning part i know he haves a 40GB and he's has a windows partition in there so i getthing lost on that part. so how to do you set it up ?

what partition setup are you trying to achieve??

i recommend cfdisk to do it...

an example setup for your 80gb drive:

/dev/hda1 = "/" 5GB (reiser filesystem)

/dev/hda5 = "swap" 1GB

/dev/hda6 = "/home" 74GB (reiser filesystem)

remember to reboot right after you partition, BEFORE you start the install...
