The first two CDs are all you need. Maybe even just CD1, if like me, you don't use the KDE desktop environment.
Slackware Linux Basics is a more comprehensive tutorial, and that particular link is specific to Slackware Linux 10.2. Or the official book
The Revised Slackware Book Project recommended by Slackware.
All Slackware versions up to and including 10.2 (and -current) can run on a computer with a 64-bit processor.
You might also want to read and learn about
Slackware's packaging system since it isn't anything like SuSE.
