slackpkg complained about wrong md5sum and gpg on raspberry pi
Hi, anyone uses raspberry pi here? Slackpkg always complained about wrong md5sum and gpg. I had to disable md5sum and gpg check to get around this. What could be wrong. It happened for all mirrors I could find.

yes I have had this happen to me many times in Slackware when there is a bad download
or that mirror has a bad copy. do a slackpkg update gpg then slackpkg update if you still get the same problem.
then try another mirror. if you still get the same problem make sure you have those programs installed.
remember in slackpkg.conf you can turn them off. so you can actually install them.

Most likely since the packages have all been re-signed with a new PGP key - the explanation is in each of the change logs for 14.1, 14.0 and current.
Blindly updating the GPG key and ignoring the errors is not a wise move.

You are 100 percent right. Pat should be the only one allowed to change them. And if we found a mirror doing that to Slackware I think the fallout would be very bad.
Again you are right this is why I keep my own mirror on my Slackbox.
