slackpkg and md5sum errors
I've got a virtualbox test box with 14.2+ installed with alienbob's ktown and multilib.
I use slackpkg+ to keep everything up to date. This morning at the back end of the slackpkg+ update I went through the process of deciding whether to keep or overwrite the new config files - which went successfully. Then slackpkg reported a number of updates/downloads that failed md5sum tests. They scrolled past so fast I couldn't make a note of them. I've done a subsequent slackpkg update and upgrade-all, Slackpkg says my system is up to date. Is it even with the md5sum errors? Alex |
Like you I have had a few of the md5sums fail yet my Slackware system ran stable and I've never had any problems.
