Slacko 6.3 has been released

Get it.

There are ISOs for 32 and 64-bit (BIOS or Legacy booting only).

They say for the 64-bit version:
Quote:
Slacko64 Puppy is built from Slackware64-14.1 binary TXZ packages, hence has binary compatibility with Slackware and access to the Slackware and Salix repositories. It is a 64 bit operating system and requires a compatible Intel (IA64) or AMD (amd64) processor. More comprehensive release notes and documentation of known issues are available.
I like the installer starter with many options listed pressing F2 or F3 and the "Quick setup" window displayed just after startup.

Worth a try. 2m8s to DL the ISO from a fast mirror, but that's with the optic fiber link to the Internet I have in Paris

Slacko is nice, and its bootable USB key creation program does magic.

What a wonderful 64 bit and multi-lib puppy. stable and fast.
only thing I had to do was edit the /etc/ld.so.conf
add this lines
Code:
/usr/local/lib
/usr/local/lib64
Now my custom puppy programs finds all those libraries now.
