Slack9... silly question?

Hi all,

I have just installed slackware 9 (compiled my own kernel... XFS support... woohoo) it is fast

I was wondering... in slack9, for any user, where do I set up the <myshell>.rc file??

I am trying to do simple stuff like
alias ls=ls\ --color
JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2

etc...

can anyone help me?

Cheers

There's no ~/.bashrc file created by default... but you can create one and it'll still work.

For global shell profiles edit /etc/profile to suit your needs.
