slack10 and Terratec Aureon 5.1 Fun sound card
Before I used salck9.1, and my Terratec sound card can be detected automatically. For slack10 it's a little different, but I can still configure my sound card through "alsaconf", it said that the device was configured and ready to use. After saving the restarting, I run "alsamixer" in a console, I can only see 5 columes, and only the one in the middle can be adjustified with up and down arrows. After that I can play mp3 and wav files with totem, but the sound still does not work with xmms. I also dont have system sounds in both KDE and Gnome.
BTW: in xmms I have tried to change the output audio driver, e.g. alsa, oss, art..(forgot the),but none of them worked.
Must I re-install the alsa driver?If yes, how can I uninstall the current one? Please give me some hints ^_^
