Question slack10.2 typerate problem

hi all,
after searching with google almost 1 week, finaly i must ask.

my problem is with slack 10.2, after login to the server with ssh as regular user, typerate speed is very slow, so i must hold down button almost 1 sec, or atleast click it 2 times to display the charackter, after i do su -, the problem is gone. i compare enviroments of root and user, profiles and can't see any difference. This porblem is with all users.
server is with kernel 2.6.16-20.

If anyone can give me some directions for finding solutions, i'll be very gratefull.

I'm not sure that I understand you correctly.

Is the type rate setting only when you use SSH? Or is it for SSH and also for the local users too?

it's a difference between SSH or the kernel's keyboard control itself. but perhaps it's in only in SSH.

does this happen anytime you use SSH? or only after a fresh system boot?

it can also be possible that there are some other programs that's using higher "event" latency like the network managers which can slowdown keyboard events.

or maybe it's the network access of ssh itself. it can be possible that ssh is more focused in acknowledging with the server in the network than accepting keyboard input. something like a rapid login-check-if-input-done loop if you know what i mean.
