slack-current of dropline ? Hi all :-) slack-current of dropline ?

Hi all :-)

I was wondering why I should upgrade my Gnome desktop to dropline (currently based on gnome 2.6.1) ?

slack-current is based on Gnome 2.6.2, and themes or precompiled packages from dropline (If lazy to recompile) can easily be added to current ...

When looking at slack-current, it seems most of software available seems to be quite stable.
I am planning to have my desktop based on slack-current, and my web server based on 9.1 patched.

Experienced slack's users experience is highly welcome :-)

Fred

Search the board, there have been recent "discussions" about that. We probably don't need another fla.... errr discussion. Remember though dropline is really meant to be run on slack 9.1 not current.

Actually, according to Dropline's site, it is still designed for Slack 9.0
