Slack Current: Missing Kernel parts ? so it is not getting put into Grub.
Isn't there suppose to be a huge.s kernel in boot on Slack?
this is by the way an install using AlienBoB dvd current. Code:
[userx@arcomeo boot]$ ls Code:
[userx@arcomeo ~]$ update-grub I am in the process of Downloading another Slack.dvd.iso to use that to boot into Slack then figure it out from there any guidance would be nice. because I really think its missing parts. I do not know if this is going to be a waste of a post, but better safe then stuck... |
After I posted this and as I was booting up the USB Stick to use it to get into Slack. I remembered on my last update It told me I have a complete dups of the entire kernel everything, I just told it to delete one then go about updating. when it was done I left on went into FreeBSD, and not return to Slack until today,
when I did boot into it using a USB Stick I had no keyboard. I got a split system, So I am going to elevate myself of a lot of hassle of fixing this and that to get a KBoard and everything else I need to do to get it back up and running again reinstall current dvd ISO ... cheers! |
