You will not find a *.iso for --Current on the Slackware site, as --Current is a moving target.

Here's the traditional way to move to --Current.

1. Install the current Slackware stable release.

2. Update it.

Code:
su
[enter root password]
slackpkg update
slackpkg install-new
slackpkg upgrade-all
slackpkg clean-system
3. Edit /etc/slackpkg/mirrors to point to a mirror for Current.

4. Update per step 2.

You will now be running --Current.

As a release for v. 14.2 appears imminent (it's in beta right now), it might be best to wait until it comes out to do this.

Help yourself. http://docs.slackware.com/
You can get both 32bit Slackware-current and 64bit Slackware64-current .isos from http://taper.alienbase.nl/mirrors/slackware/

FWIW - I have been circumcised.

@un1x: 8GB is not enough for a full installation of Slackware current, furthermore install on an USB stick is a bit tricky. My prediction is that you will soon loose interest doing that and move to something else, if I may extrapolate from your previous threads. Also, please try to write complete sentences in English.
@allend: then the OP didn't request _you_ to answer

@Didier - Your answer suggests you have the appropriate variable set to true in your environment.

Downloaded and did a frugal install of the XFCE version. Everything seems to work as expected.
So just one more time : thank you very much. Nice piece of work!
someone can expand that ?

So, now you don't have wireless? Maybe you should create a new topic for your various problems rather than hijacking your own without providing any information.

How did you install Slackware? What version did you use? Did you do a full install or did you leave some packages out? What is the output of lspci -knn|grep -A3 net? What is the output of iwconfig? How do you plan to connect to wireless networks (manually with iwconfig/wpa_supplicant, wicd, network manager)? Did you select the correct choice with netconfig?

Jumping back in your threads with a new problem (that is poorly documented/explained) without providing the resolution to your previous problem is bad etiquette and could prevent some from trying to help you.

@bassmadrigal: un1x was implicitly referring to this thread:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...or-4175554407/
where he complained that his wireless adapter be not supported by a BSD.

So he doesn't seem to have an issue on using it on Slackware, and doesn't actually need help. Maybe we could help him to learn how to write a complete an understandable sentence in English, but that doesn't seem to be an issue he cares about.
