slack autotools

I've been learning about using the development autotools (autoconf, automake, libtool) on my slack 10.2 box, and the nice tutorial I've been following to learn with mentioned a command called acmkdir that will generate a skeleton development directory for you. I can't find this anywhere on my system and I've done a full install of slackware.

I tried:
locate acmkdir
whereis acmkdir
grep acmkdir /var/log/packages/*

Is this just not part of the autotools anymore or just not included with slack for some reason? It looks to be a handly little tool for getting started.

I've just tried to Google and Google/Linux for it. Apparently there are rpms for it (for Fedora) and Debian has it. You could try d/ling the rpm and installing it via rpm2tgz, but that may or may not give you something usable.

Sourceforge doesn't have it, Freshmeat doesn't have it and Swaret couldn't find it.

I seem to have found it, it looks like it's part of a package called the autotoolset which is supposed to complement the GNU build system.

Thanks a lot for trying to help though.

Edit:Not sure that this is up to date, however, with the latest autoconf, automake and libtool as the last date in the changelog is in 2003
