DonLuis Member Registered: Feb 2003 Location: Republic of Texas Distribution: ZW-WBEL4-Slack-RHat-Puppy-Debian Posts: 75 Rep:	Slack 9.1 (Tecra 8100) Modem Problem Is anyone using the internal winmodem in the Tecra 8100 with Slack 9.1? This is my first laptop, and it appears the built-in Lucent MARS winmodem is conflicting with my external modem (ttys0). kppp hangs on ATZ when attempting to dial (with the ext modem). It's not Slack 9.1, since it works great on my desktop boxes (with both PCI hardware and an external modems).
