I've come back to Slackware after trying out Mandrake. The last version of Slackware I was toying with was 7.0.
Still I'm on the learning curve with Linux so I'm gonna sound like any newbie.
I've got Slack installed and running just fine. KDE is installed nicely as well. Welll... sorta. :-)
When I try to change the time under KDE it causes a crash, not of everything, but just that utility. Some of the other apps will crash when I close them. Screem (Web design) or Kommander It's an error message dialog saying the app has done something illegal (signal 11).
It's weird because I also had the console have some issues right as I was shutting down KDE.
Is KDE 3.1.4 stable when running with Slack? I mean when I think of stability I think of Slackware, but KDE is acting awfully weird.
My hardware is two PC systems both running Slackware 9.1.
