Slack 14.1 Audacious missing modplug plugin

It appears that Slack 14.1 doesn't have modplug (Module player) included, and as a result the Audacious build didn't create the plugin. Understandable.

I can add the library in myself. Slack doesn't really have a tight packaging system, so I'm not too worried about creating dependency problems if I recompile manually ... but still... what's the "correct" way to recompile audacious? Just download the source package and go?

Thanks,
-e.

Yes, you can just download the respective source folder of audacious-plugins, run the SlackBuild and assuming no other modifications are necessary to pick up modplug support, the generated package will have what you desire.

However, for better maintenance you may opt to do write a separate SlackBuild akin to for example audacious-aac on SBo. That way you'd end up with an audacious-modplug package that happily lives next to the standard audacious-plugins package.
