Slack 13: 32 vs 64 versions


I am about to try Slack 13 and thinking about the 32 vs 64 bit differences. As I regularly use a number of software, like gdb,g77, grace
and a lot more, I wonder if these are 64-compatible. Anyone have experience about how much is compatible with 64bit?(or indeed if it's worth going to 64)?

If you did choose 64 bit, you could go multilib using this guide:
