Slack 12.0/current on Latitude D610 w/ dock

I've been wrestling with getting 12.0 or -current to work with the docking station for my Lat D610. Does anyone out there have configs (mainly xorg.conf and anything in /etc/acpi, maybe kernel) for a working setup?

Ideally I would like to be able to close the lid, dock, and have the desktop split over the two video ports on the docking station. Right now I can only dock with the lid open and the image is cloned from the laptop LCD to one of the video ports on the docking station.

I have googled and found links for getting slack up and going on the laptop w/o the docking station, but none docked. It works fine out of the dock. This is my first attempt at getting slack working with a dock.

HW info:

Dell Latitude D610 w/ Intel 915GM
D/APR docking station Model: PR01X

Thanks!
