Well after a few months with Slack I decided to change my theme in fluxbox for first time, LOL

anyway...

When I select change themes in fluxbox, well the window borders and fonts change, but not the default background for the respective theme at all.

I don't have any custom backgrounds called for, I'm using stock everything for fluxbox config's except for a few added programs items in 'menu' and that's it.

I verified this issue on a different pc too, the skins change but not the wallpapers.

Also, in Slack 10.2 there used to be an option to toggle on antialiasing, is that gone now too?

It was decided some time ago that fluxbox styles (or themes, if you will) should not change the background (wallpaper). So you'll have to find yourself a nice background image to use with all themes or manually change it if it does not fit into your choise of theme.
(The fbsetbg script included with fluxbox lets you change your background image. You could also check out http://www.tenr.de for some nice themes.)

The antialias option was removed from the menu a while back, now you'll have to define it in your ~/.fluxbox/init file (session.screen0.antialias: true|false)
