Slack 10.2 + XFCE: Changing number of lines scrolled with mouse wheel

OK. I give up.

How do you change the number of lines scrolled from (app dependant) 3-4 to lets say 1.

I would assume this is an xorg.conf problem but all my googling just led to answers for it not working at all. Mine is working "too much".

you should be able to change it in your window manager. in KDE it is control centre>peripherals>mouse or something.
I dont recal seeing a setting in xorg.conf but there could well be.
Otherwise firefox also has its own settings. type 'about:config' in the browser address bar and there are a bunch of 'mouse' settings for scroll etc..

Thanks.

I was hoping for something more global though...
