Just a feeler to see if anyone else is running into problems with Konsole.

My problem starts when im playing an avi (usually in the space of 1MB-300MB) with xine. When an avi is playing, Konsole will accept about another 10 characters of text until it stalls (i.e. no echo, no beeps). It will stay like this until it is closed (even if xine is closed).

A new window open will exhibit the same problem (while xine is open).

I'm running a pretty stock standard 10.2 install (kernel 2.4.34)

It not really a huge issue, i just use xterm if im watching a vid, but if its an easy fix, i'll get onto it.

Probably not related to your issue, but....

I use Konsole and sometimes (rarely) the terminal will appear 'locked up' in that I can't see anything I'm typing. But stuff I type does actually get processed.

Try typing at the stalled prompt (even if you can't see that your are typing it). After you hit enter see if the terminal works.
