Slack 10.2 hangs up at post?

Just installed slack 10.2. Went slow step by step everything went ok. Got to the end where I removed the cd and rebooted. System restarted ok, started through the first window of the post then stopped. (pci device listing - IRQ and stuff) That's it nothing else. Rebooted again, same thing. Checked floppy, nothing in it.

I'm confused, could someone shed a little light on this for me.

Maybe your bootloader wasn't properly installed into mbr or do you use floppy to boot?

No, I installed from CD. I did make a boot floppy disk. Do I need it to boot up with?

If you have chosen not to install lilo into beginning of root partition or mbr, then you need floppy. Tell me which option did you choose to install lilo.
