Slack 10.2 apps

I was exploring the new 10.2 Slackware I installed, (Mepis user here), and I couldn't find K3B or any other data burning software. Does it have one?

Also, what repositories do I get packages from?

cdrtools, cdrdao, are the commandline tools for burning cds, k3b, is more of a gui for those programs, you can download the source from www.k3b.org and then compile it. Slackware doesn't come with anything extra, just whatever is included with KDE itself. As for slackware packages, try www.linuxpackages.net , and there is also http://www.slackware.com/pb/

I believe k3b package is in the extra directory of CD 2

You could get official packages from here :
http://www.slackware.com/pb

And non-official packages :
http://www.linuxpackages.net
