slack 10.1 hangs after hotplug

Hi guys, I'm using a slackware 10.1 boot disk in my Box and everything was OK until this morning when I tried to boot slackware. Suddenly after hotplug slackware hangs (I can´t write anything in the boot promt).

I think is a hotplug issue, do you know if I can disable hotplug at the boot promt ? or maybe bypass this part of the boot process?

Any help appreciated.

yes... when lilo loads.. pass the command nohotplug and hotplug will be disabled.
