Slack 10.1

According to the changelog, glibc was upgraded from 2.3.2 to 2.3.4. AFAIK, this should be two 100% compatible versions, as only the 3rd part of the version number has changed.
Can anybody confirm that indeed packages compiled for Slackware 10.0 will need no recompilation for 10.1 (except the one's creating kernel modules)?

/lib/libc.so.6 | grep version
GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4, by Roland McGrath et al.
...

I did compile softwares with glibc 2.3.2 and they continue to work
