Skype permissins problems

I have just installed skype 0.92 , he works fine as root . When I use it as a normal user i can do everything EXCEPT speak in microphne it gives a erro like this " error sound device" sometime "enable to open sound device". But with root i can always speak...

Someone knows what i have to do to speak in skype as normal user?

vador; while in root u are the only one to set permissions for everything, including how devices are enabled to work. so that is where u have ablility to configure that sound error. missing is
enough information about your system ie: what mode u using? gui or text.?
