skype on Slackware64?

Hi. I've installed Slackware64 and I'm now trying to install skype. Unfortunatly, skype has only 32 bit version. I downloaded the slackbuild script and the installation goes fine. However, when I type /usr/bin/skype it says
Code:
"bash: /usr/bin/skype: No such file or directory
even though there's an executable there. So I suppose the problem is that i'm using 64 bit slackware and the program is 32 bit...

Any ideas how to proccede to install the 32-bit skype ?

Thanks in advance.

You should read this article for information on how to run 32-bit software on 64-bit Slackware: http://alien.slackbook.org/dokuwiki/...kware:multilib

The LQ thread which is being referenced in post #2 is a bit outdated.

I have not been able to get skype to playback ever since the first multilib upgrade it went south. I wish you would go into detail because your wiki says wine and skype work. tired of the reboot to use skype.
Oh been all over the code the mic is not being captured by skype. 32 bit alsa works fine 64 bit alsa works fine. any thoughts how to record and play back with skype.
