Skanlite crashes
Does Skanlite crash for anyone else? For me, it crashes when you try to save the image you scanned. XSane works beautifully, so it's not my hardware.
It's a Canon LIDE30, in case you're wondering. |
Works fine with a HP psc 1410.
No crashes. Seems it's a bit slower than XSane. Do you get any errors when you start it from command line? |
hey I had lide30 few years ago
currently using canon pixma mp620 networked scan source:flatbed scan mode:color scan resolution:600 dpi scanned 8.5 x 11 doc, saved it, produced 3 meg png, no problem |
Locks up for me when it shows the "New Image File Name" dialog.
Console output: Code:
QGtkStyle was unable to detect the current GTK+ theme. |
It appears you may not have samba installed. smb.conf is the configuration file for samba and Skanlite seems to be searching for it.
|
It has nothing to do with Samba, I get that smb error too, but here it doesn't crash.
Errors that Dugan has and I don't are about qgtk. That same error is spoken of here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=99175 |
