If your running Gnome, right click on your panel, select "Add to Panel" and then choose "Workspace Switcher"
Thats for Gnome-2.8.3 tho. Should be a similar process for 2.6 |
Thanks very much for your reply i did not give enought information it would seem i am running kde only i did what you suggested but i can not find workspace switcher

at the bottom of the screen, the taskbar should appear with the workspace switcher (if it is not here, right click on the taskbar and add it) Or maybe there is a shortcut like ctrl+alt+[1-4] ? |
yes i am using the kde auto hide feature i can make the task bar appear and disapear but when it is there i still do not have the workspace switcher i have clicked add to paneel and i have been through all of the application buttons and i can not see one for workspace switcher
thanks nige |

thanks nige |
Sorry... I assumed since you came from Redhat that you were using Gnome. Yea, It's 'Desktop Pager' in KDE and I think 'Kontrol Center' pretty much has everything you need to customize. Normally I get lost looking thru that so I can understand why you might have had a hard time finding it... ;)
