I was born on the 13th (of May), there are 13 letters in my name, and if you stick the 1 and the 3 together you get B. Plus the already mentioned connections with The Church Of The SubGenius. That makes 13 OK by me.

Hmmmm, that's not what I'd call a very solid promise. What's with the other distro's? Are they nearing version 13 yet? (whoehahaha, I think not!)
We might even go to version 12.3, 12.4, 12.5 etc so others have the chance to catch up. Cut 'em some slack, so to speak

But considering 'superstition bringeth bad luck', maybe we should just make the jump to #13 and come tide or high water, just stick with it.

Shall I ask the famous question that has proven so many times to be the final utterance of the overconfident?? "Slackware 13! What's the worst that could happen?"

I really think Slackware needs a large version boost - Mandriva is already at version 2009. We don't want to look obsolete.
