Shotcut

Recentliy I've installed qt5, qt5-webkit and shotcut from the official Slackbuilds. What I've recognized the window of shotcut is too big and to manipulate the windows by the maximize & minimize button does not work. Is there any workaround for these kind of issues?

The weird thing is, I haven't any kind of these issues on Kde.

System: Slackware 14.2
Kernel: 5.2.11
DE: Xfce 4.14
QT5 5.9.8

Shotcut: 18.11.18

I have shotcut. It's basic but works fine. I dumped it in /usr/local and it has it's own directory, like firefox or palemoon, with everything supplied. Are your video settings funny?

My videos settings are alright,because I haven't these kind of problems on kde. It looks like that it's a problem of qt, because when I start shotcut via

Code:

QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 shotcut
everything works well.

Anyway, I've installed qt-5.13 and installed the newest version of shotcut. It really works very well.

thanks

I've experienced a few QT5 glitches in the Xfce WM that don't appear with QT4 programs. Stock Slackware64-14.2 is getting a bit old and grizzled. This may all be a moot point ater Xfce-4.14 and Slackware-15

+1 on that. Software of that type has moved to Python3. Qt-5.13 (mow a requirement for many things) and WxWidgets or PyQt5, each with their own messy web widgets.
