"setup vboxdrv" in Current

It appears that, if you are running an up-to-date Slackware --Current, you no longer have to run

Code:

cd /etc/rc.d
./setup vboxdrv

after updating the kernel or VirtualBox.

I've had a kernel update and a VB version update and VB worked without manual intervention (if anything done with a computer can be said to be "manual").

This is true also in Slackware version 14.2. Recent versions of VB auto-upgrade their kernel drivers. Nice feature.

PS I am using the blob. I didn't check packages built from SBo
