Setting monitor colour profile at startup

I just upgraded the screen on my thinkpad and would like to have an improved colour profile loaded when I boot instead of doing it manually. I've created a file rc.xcalib in /etc/rc.d
Code:
#!/bin/bash
/usr/bin/xcalib -d :0 /usr/share/color/icc/B140HAN01_2.icm
Did chmod +x but it doesn't apply at boot. Am I missing something?

It changes the colour profile of X Windows which won't be loaded yet.

Stick it in your .xinitrc or the one you have chosen as default in /etc/X11/xinitrc.

Out of interest, purely because I'm playing with the same thing atm and having no joy with the .icc created by lprof, where did you get your .icm?

I've been able to use an .icc created by windows using that command and the method above, but creating one myself is as yet beyond me.

Just googled the model number for the display that I ordered, one of the first ones that I found has a much better tone to it
