i agree with the earlier statement
that your isp has simply blocked the port

(i still don't understand how inbound traffic effects spam,
but that's their story...and they are sticking to it)

Called Earthlink.


Port 25 not available

Use port 587 smtpauth.earthlink.net

Please advise on changes I must make.

Forward port 587 on my router? Change SMART HOST in .mc from smtp.earthlink.net to smtpauth.earthlink.net?

you're sol

options include:
switching to a decent isp that doesn't block 25 (or 80) inbound
paying out the *bleep* to upgrade to a "business" account
paying a third party to bounce it to you
