SDDM 12 hour Instead of 24 Hour Clock

Is there a way to force SDDM (using AlienBob's KDE5 packages) to use a 12 hour instead of 24 hour clock? If I am logged in as my user and the screen goes to sleep, the SDDM login screen that comes up when I wake it up shows a 12 hour clock. When I'm logged out, it shows a 24 hour one. It would seem, then that my system-wide locale is not set properly, but I can't figure out how to do that. All the "answers" I found from Google were distro-specific and none of them were Slackware.

FWIW, the output of the locale program as a user shows "en_US.UTF-8" for everything. As root it shows simply "en_US".

Thanks, ferrari. At least I know it's not just me. I'll check out that bug report. Thankfully, it's a very minor thing.
