SD Card Reader on MSI X460

Hi,

I have installed a slackware 13.73 on msi x460.
Everything works out of box except card reader.

dmesg didn't show anything, when I insert sd card.
Due to I have only linux on my notebook I don't know if card reader works at all, but notebook is new, so I think it works.

Can you suggest me anything?

Best Regards,
Daniil

Type udevadm monitor before you insert the card, then post the results here.
You probably will se there the /dev node that base created or worse a clue about what is needed.

Nothings happens.
Could it be because lack of modules for card reader?

I solve the problem by downloading a realtek driver for card reader. Compiled that one and install.

I have found the solution, here:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1797202

and download the driver here:

Thanks for you reply.
