Scrotwm

Hi!

I'm searching for a Slackbuild for scrotwm.
I really like this WM but couldn't find a Slackbuild of it.

My knowledge isn't big enough to make my own Slackbuild, that's why I aks here.

If someone could help it would be great!

Yes. It has an excellent man page that tells you everything you need to know.

Yes, scrotwm is great and easy to configure. I use it with Arch and it is great. I love it.

But with Slackware I've got the problem that I couldn't do anything. Scrotwm starts, no errors reported but I can't do anything. The Keyboard don't work. The mousecursor is working but that's all. No erros in tty1 and Xorg.0.log.
This is my ~/.xinitrc:
Code:

numlockx &
~/.awesome/awesome_start.sh &
exec awesome
#

#feh --bg-center /home/sojasau/Backgrounds/wallpaper_13239.jpg &
#xsetroot -cursor_name left_ptr
#exec scrotwm

Now is Awesome active. If I want to start scrotwm I uncomment the last 3 Lines and comment the second and the third.

Anything else is needed?

//Edit: I've posted it also in a german Forum: http://www.linux-forum.de/keine-reak...tml#post123007

You can find packages for scrotwm in the Salix repositories, for i486 or x86_64 arches:

That's great!
Thank you!

sorta offtopic:

Does ScrotWM have the ability to apply multiple tags to a single window? I'm thinking it should since it's based on dwm and xmonad, but I've been scouring documentation with no success.

great tiler btw...so easy to customize
